Dad’s Burgers

December 4th is my Dad’s birthday, and this year he is 25 with 33 years of experience. I can’t go home to see him this year, but I am going to try and do something nice. So tonight I am making a classic - his famous burger recipe for dinner. Well, famous to my family, and hopefully now you.

Ingredients

  • 600g of beef

  • 3 TBSP of BBQ sauce (he recommends bulls eye original)

  • 8-10 drops of liquid smoke

  • 8-10 drops of Worcestershire sauce (worworshire sauce, as I called it at 8)

  • 12 soda crackers

  • 1/4 cup of yellow onion

  • 1 TSP of Ms. Dash seasoning

  • 1/2 TSP of garlic salt

Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients together in a big bowl

  2. Separate into balls

  3. Squish flat

  4. Crack a Molson Canadian

  5. place on grill, flipping every minute or so

  6. Drink most of the Canadian

  7. Remove when fully cooked

Serve on a bun, side of Caesar salad and potato chips
